Communities of Kama, Takarda, Turbus, Mai Hassan, Kukayaskun Kaku, Fagen Kure, Jajeri, and Kwanar Daniya in Maigatari Local Government Area have appealed to the Jigawa State Government to assist in constructing a road network that will connect their towns.

A resident of the area, Malam Ali A. Bulama Turbus, who spoke on behalf of the communities during an interview with Radio Nigeria in Maigatari, emphasized the significance of the road project for local development and accessibility.

According to him, the provision of the road to the area will greatly ease the transportation challenges faced by residents, particularly in accessing healthcare.

He said, the road would also boost commercial activities, maintaining social connections, and meeting other daily needs vital to the development of the area.

Malam Ali Turbus therefore appealed to the leadership of the local government and other stakeholders to support the communities in realizing this project, noting the significance in improving the quality of life for the people in the region.

According to him, the proposed road by the eight communities would begin from the Hadejia-Gumel road, pass through the listed communities, and connect to the Maigatari-Birniwa road.
