Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has resume education and orientation exercise for Intending pilgrims after the fasting of the Islamic month of Ramadan.
The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo stated this to Radio Nigeria in Dutse, the state capital.
According to him, the board would ensure that intending pilgrims get the rudiments of performing hajj in order to have value for their hard earned money paid to perform the religious obligation.

Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo said, the pilgrims would be easily be educated and enlightened on how to conduct themselves as well as perform acceptable hajj while at the Holy land.
He said the daily orientation and enlightenment exercise being conducted across the 27 designated centres in the state would enable the intending pilgrims to gain a better understanding of the Hajj rites.
The Director General added that the lectures would also help them become familiar with the guidelines and new policies introduced for the 2025 Hajj by the Saudi authorities and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Labbo called on this year’s intending pilgrims to attend the daily Hajj orientation lectures to help them understand the obligatory and Sunnah aspects of the Hajj operation.
He explained that the turn out of intending pilgrims at the ongoing orientation exercise organized in the designated centres across the 27 local government areas of the state is encouraging.
Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo also commended the intending pilgrims for taken the daily orientation lectures seriously.

He noted that by the end of the lectures the prospective pilgrims would be fully informed and know the hajj obligations here in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
The Director General, therefore urged them to continue with their usual habits of behaviour and be good ambassadors of the state, the country and also abide by laid down rules of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He said the board had already secured hygienic accommodation for the state Pilgrims close to the Holy mosque, adding that feeding arrangements have been made to provide the most convenient company to feed the Pilgrims at the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Labbo, therefore, commended Governor Umar Namadi for the support and cooperation given to the board at all times.
