President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to uphold the values of the holy month of Ramadan and remain steadfast on the path of righteousness.

Speaking at the National Eid Ground in Abuja after observing the Eid congregational prayers, the President emphasized the importance of unity, good health, and national progress.

“We saw the beginning, we started together, and we are ending together in good health and happiness. We must continue to pray for our country and all our people,” President Tinubu stated.

He urged Nigerians not to abandon the discipline and virtues learned during Ramadan, stressing that the lessons of the holy month should guide their actions beyond the fasting period.

“Everything we have observed during this sacred month should not be reversed. We must not return to a path that is unacceptable. That is my prayer for all,” he added.

The President also called for caution and mutual respect, urging citizens to avoid actions that could cause division or harm to others.

The Eid prayers, attended by top government officials and dignitaries, marked the end of Ramadan, a month dedicated to fasting, reflection, and devotion.
