Kaduna State Governor, Malam Uba Sani, has appointed the Emir of Kauru, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ya’u Shehu Usman, as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the state’s official delegation for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

In a statement, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa, explains that the appointment of the respected traditional ruler is in recognition of his selfless service, integrity, and effective leadership in public administration.

As Amirul Hajj, the Emir will work closely with the Kaduna State Special Hajj Committee and collaborate with State, Federal, and International agencies to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage for intending pilgrims from Kaduna State.

The governor also prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection as the Emir undertakes this important responsibility, the statement adds.
