Muslims have been urged to shun all acts that are capable of invalidating their Ramadan fast.
Imam Abdulyasar Abdulkadir- Remilekun made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Hilal Crescent Central Mosque in Ilorin,Kwara state.
He said a fasting Muslim is expected to increase his period of worship during this month of Ramadan.
According to him Muslims should make haste in visiting places of worship and recitation of the Holy Qur’an to increase their knowledge.
Imam Abdulkadir- Remilekun advised the fasting Muslim to avoid engaging in arguments,or watching films that may not add to their knowledge or fear of God.
He urged them to inculcate the habit of waking up at night to observe salat in order to seek Allah’s forgiveness .
Imam Abdulkadir-Remilekun called on Muslims to engage their body part in acts that Allah will accept as worship.
