Federal Government has been advised to ensure regular funding of projects earmarked in this year’s budget signed by President Bola Tinubu ten days ago.

A former member of the National Assembly, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Keta gave the advice in Kaduna while reacting to the signing of the Appropriation Act being operated with the Twenty-Twenty-four Budget.

Alhaji Idris Keta stressed the need for measures against delayed execution of such projects which may attract upward review of costs by contractors

The former Legislator was however, delighted over steps taken by the present administration to deny payment of mobilization fees until six months after commencement of the projects to show commitment on contract Agreement.

Alhaji Idris Keta expressed hope that promises made to retired workers would be redeemed by the relevant agencies to alleviate their sufferings over the years and justify national sacrifices,
