The Senator representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District, Sunday Marshall Katung, has commended Governor Uba Sani for his continuous support in ensuring the smooth takeoff of the University of Applied Science and Technology, Kachia.

Katung made this statement on his official media handles, where he acknowledged the concrete steps the governor is taking to drive development in the Southern Kaduna region.

“Today, I had the privilege of accompanying my brother, His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, to formally hand over the Certificate of Occupancy (CoO) for the land designated for the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia.

The certificate was presented to the Federal Government through the Minister of Education, who serves as its custodian on behalf of the government,” Katung stated.

“the event which held at the conference room of the Ministry of Education was graced by the Honourable Minister of Education, Hon Murufu Tunji Alausa; the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahamed ; the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Nazir Gwarzo; the Director of Universities at the Federal Ministry of Education; and other distinguished Directors.

“I extend my gratitude to His Excellency for not only supporting this initiative but also taking concrete steps to ensure the establishment and smooth take off of the University. Together, we are making significant progress and driving development for our people”,he narrated
