National Assembly has been advised to focus on the socio-economic development of the country to promote good governance.

Callers on the FRCN Kaduna Karama FM program “KAKAKI” gave this advice while contributing to the discussion on topical issues presented by the host.

They expressed concern over reports of a legal action filed against Senate President Godswill Akpabio by a senator from Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti, following an alleged defamation.

Alhaji Ibrahim Alaramma, Idris Adamu Danfulani, and Sani Batira stressed the need for leadership of the legislature to ensure effective legislation to fight poverty and insecurity.

Also speaking, a guest on the programme, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad called on the government to replicate infrastructural development projects observed during foreign visits.
