Federal Government has urged Nigerians to provide vital information to security agencies to enhance national security.

The Minister of Defence, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, made the call while speaking at a citizens’ engagement program organized by the Jigawa State Government in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area.

According to him, the call has become necessary in order to strengthen security across nigeria.

Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, pointed out that security situation across the country has improved over time.

He further explained that, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has been at its best in fighting insecurity and will continue to do more so as to achieve the desired objectives.

The Minister noted that, the federal government will continue to provide all supports to nigerian troops who are at the forefront to ensure that security is restored.

Badaru who is the immediate past Governor of Jigawa state, expressed satisfaction that he handed over the mantle of leadership to a viable administration.

He commended Governor Umar Namadi’s administration for the tremendous development projects executed in the state within one year and half.

“I am happy to be witnessing the tremendous development projects executed by this administration, in the past one year and a half,” the Minister said”

Radio Nigeria reports that, some of the dignitaries that attended the occasion include, the Deputy Governor, Engineer Aminu Usman, former governor of the state, Barrister Ali Sa’ad Birnin Kudu, Secretary to the state government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, traditional and religious leaders, top government officials among others.
