State governors and other members of the National Economic Council (NEC) have commended the Economic Management Team (EMT) priorities for 2025.

This followed a presentation of the 2025 EMT priorities by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Chief Wale Edun.

Council deliberated on the indices captured in presentation and commended the efforts made in the economy, noting that the country was on the right trajectory and emphasized the need to remain focused.

Members however offered useful inputs towards the realisation of the EMT priorities and emphasized the need to provide an enabling environment for economic development.
