Coalition of Northern Groups have organised a town hall meeting to drew stakeholders from within and outside the state to brain storm on the plan tax reform by the federal government.
In a keynote address, the speaker, Professor Ahmadu Umar Sanda argued that, introduction of new taxes and reviewing upward the existing ones would no doubt fastrack development of the nation’s ailing economy.
Professor Umar Sander, appealed to Nigerians to exercise more patience and allow for smooth implementation of the new tax policy with a view to transforming the country’s economy.
In his speech, Chairman Northern Coalition groups Kebbi State Chapter, comrade Mansur Isa Guruza, stressed the need for government to pay significant attention to tackling corruption for the betterment of the country’s economy.
