The Kebbi State Government, has reopened the College of health Sciences and Technology Jega, after its months closure by the government following student’s unrest.

                                The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Hussaini Abdullahi Zuru, who briefed Journalists over the development in his office, said Governor Nasir Idris, directed the ministry to reopened the institution with immediate effect.

He said, the a letter of appointment of Acting Provost to Malam Hussaini Aliyu, the Deputy Provost Administration in the College was also presented and with immediate effective.

The permanent Secretary, however charged the new Acting Provost to discharge his duty without fear or favour as expected by the government.

The new Acting Provost, who was appointed based on merit, Zuru noted that, will justify the confidence reposed on him to steering the College professionally.
