Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Mr. Daniel Amos, has condemned the murder of one Mr. David Reuben from Tudun Wada community in Nikyob (Kaninkon) Chiefdom of Jema’a Local Government by unknown persons.
The legislator in a statement who expressed sadness called for calm and restraints over the barbaric act, urging the community to avoid any retaliatory actions that could escalate tensions.
He extends his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the entire chiefdom in Jema’a Local Government area of Kaduna State, Nigeria.
According to him, the pain of losing a loved one in such tragic circumstances is unimaginable, but urges the community to resist the temptation of taking the law into their hands.
Mr. Amos emphasizes the importance of allowing justice to take its course, calling on members of the community to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could disrupt law and order.
The legislator urges security agencies to act swiftly in investigating the crime and apprehending those responsible, saying every citizen deserves to feel safe, as it is crucial that justice is served promptly to avert future occurrences.
He also appeals to all stakeholders, including traditional leaders, government authorities, and community members to work together in fostering peace and resolving conflicts peacefully.
While urging his constituents to embrace intelligence gathering, and remain united toward a peaceful and harmonious living, Daniel Amos adds that, his thoughts and prayers are with the deceased and the immediate family.
