The New Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji has assumed duty.

In a statement by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations-NASI, Captain Abayomi Adisa says the new Commandant, Major General Frank Etim took over from Major General Oluyemi Olatoye, who has been appointed as General Officer Commanding Eighty-two Division, Enugu State.

Speaking shortly after taking over, Major General Frank Etim says he will focus on effective training of NASI students and staff development.

He commended the outgone Commandant for his impressive service towards improving the training standards in the Nigerian Army.

In his remarks, the outgone Commandant, Major General Olatoye expressed gratitude to the entire NASI community for the support he enjoyed, and urged officers and soldiers to extend such to his successor.

Until his appointment as the forty-third Commandant, Major General Etim was a Director at the Department of Army transformation and innovation.
