The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to honoring the legacy of the late Sardauna of Sokoto and Premier of the defunct Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, KBE.
To commemorate his memory, the foundation has embarked on a series of community development projects aimed at promoting education, healthcare, and economic empowerment in Northern Nigeria.
According to the Director-General of the foundation, Engr Dr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, “these projects are a testament to our unwavering dedication to preserving the ideals of Sir Ahmadu Bello.
“We believe that by investing in the development of our communities, we can create a brighter future for generations to come,” he stated.
The foundation’s initiatives include the construction of modern schools, healthcare facilities, and vocational training centers.
Meanwhile, the foundation has launched a scholarship program for underprivileged students and a microfinance scheme to support small-scale entrepreneurs.
Dr. Umar emphasized that the foundation’s work is guided by the principles of justice, inclusivity, and progress, which were championed by Sir Ahmadu Bello during his lifetime.
“We are committed to upholding his values and working tirelessly to promote the welfare and well-being of our people,” he said.
The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has called on individuals, organizations, and government agencies to join hands in supporting its community development projects.
