As Nigeria steps into the promising horizon of 2025, the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation extends heartfelt congratulations to every Nigerian for their resilience and unwavering spirit.
According to the foundation, the dawn of the new year is a testament to Nigeria’s collective endurance, reflecting its ability to overcome the trials of the preceding year.
Despite facing considerable challenges in 2024, including economic hardships, rising inflation, and unemployment, Nigerians have demonstrated remarkable strength and unity.
“As we embark on this new journey in 2025, let us embrace the challenges ahead with renewed vigor, knowing that together, we can build a prosperous and harmonious Nigeria,” said the Director General of the Foundation Engr Dr Abubakar Gambo Umar.
The foundation urges leaders across all levels of government to address pressing issues affecting daily lives, seeking robust economic policies, effective strategies to combat insecurity, and significant investments in infrastructure and healthcare.
“We must recognize that progress is a shared commitment, requiring the engagement of every individual. It is imperative that we, as citizens and leaders, collaborate to safeguard and cherish our beloved country, Nigeria,” Dr Umar emphasized.
The foundation also stresses the importance of active citizenship, emphasizing that families must prioritize education, discipline, and respect for values.
