Jigawa State Local Government Service Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to train and retrain its workforce for effective service delivery.

The Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim, gave the assurance in a message at the closing ceremony of a two-day workshop organized for the Heads of Works Departments and the Directors of Planning, Research, and Statistics of the 27 Local Government Areas at the Jigawa State Library Complex in Dutse.

Uba Bala Ringim who was represented by the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Alhaji Sani Yahaya called on the participants to make good use of what they learnt at the workshop in their various places of work.

The workshop, themed “The Impact of Project Monitoring in the Third Tier of Government,” is expected to significantly enhance effective service delivery at the Local Government level.
