The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar has tasked the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji not to relent in their dedication and efforts to the fight against terrorism and all forms of criminality in Nigeria.
He made this known during an Eid -Kabir luncheon with troops of Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji at the 213 Forward Operating Base in Katsina State.
Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar said the successes of the Air Component in synergy with other security agencies have continued to contribute to security within the North-west region.
In a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the NAF, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet says the Air Chief had earlier commissioned some airfield facilities such as the new taxiway link, operations and engineering building and a new sports complex.
The statement adds that the commissioned airfield facilities will no doubt ensure air operations, especially within the North-west zone, are more effective and efficient.
