The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has  arrested  two vandals, Mansur Haruna (29) and Kabiru Abdullahi (27), residents of Fagge Quarters, Kano State.

The suspects were caught by operatives of the Corps’ Fagge Divisional Office during a night patrol in Fagge Layin Kampala around 2:40 pm with vandalized streetlight armored cables worth hundreds of thousands of Naira.

Following a thorough investigation, the suspects have been convicted of possession of stolen property and criminal conspiracy.

The NSCDC Kano Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest and conviction in a press statement.

This arrest is a result of the Corps’ intensified surveillance on critical assets and infrastructure, demonstrating their commitment to protecting public property and maintaining law and order in the State.
