Senior Political Appointees to Governor Uba Sani have donated food items to three Orphanage Homes, drugs and other hospital equipments to Primary Health Care at Jaji to supporting less privileged people in the Society.
The Chairman of the Appointees, Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed while speaking with newsmen shortly after donating some food items at Potters Orphanage home in Agwa community, Chikun Local government area , called on wealthy individuals to initiate more ways of supporting the less privileged people as part of effort to reduce their hardship.
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed who is also Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic matters said the importance of supporting the needy in the society can not be over emphasize, henced the need for Nigerian to always assist them to mitigate their difficulties.
He explained that, the appointees decided to put resources together to purchase food items, drugs and other hospital equipments to support the less privileged people in the state, revealing that idea for the gesture was also to celebrate the administration of Governor Uba Sani one year in office.
“The purpose of our coming really is to thank Almighty God for having our Governor who stayed in office up to one year now and part of the activity is to see how we can be able to share love to those that we consider as less previledge”
“All children in this orphanage home need our support and also to show love to them”
He further encouraged children not even at orphanage homes to be strong and pay much attention in their studies to become responsible persons in the society.
Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed maintained that, the needy are really in need of support of the previledge ones.
“Actually this is the best thing any human being can do to humanity, country like Nigeria the dominant are poor. I think the few privileged ones can be able to find way of given back to the community”
Earlier, the Proprietor Potters Home, Agwa community, Chikun Local government, Mr Franklin Young who commended the appointees for the gesture, stressed the need for other privileged individuals to imbibe the gesture.
Other orphanage homes that benefited with the food items are in Barnawa and Maraban Rido.
Similarly, the Senior Political appointees have also donated Drugs and Hospital equipments in Jaji, Primary Health care.
Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed, emphasized that, one of the cardinal focus of Governor Uba Sani administration was to support poor, vulnerable and undeserved people
He described Governor Uba Sani as a visionary leader that is working assiduously to bring positive development in every sector of economy.
“At the same time, we are here to show gratitude by associating with less privileged people especially the sick that is why we decided among all the Political appointees to gather some little resources from our pocket to see what we can do to buy some drugs and other equipments needed in the hospital”
The Village head of Jaji Community, Alhaji Adamu Sale expressed gratitude to the Senior appointees for the gesture, saying that the drugs would go along way in supporting sick people in the hospital.
Alhaji Adamu Sale prayed for the success of Governor Sani administration particularly in the area of executing development projects.
While receiving the drugs, the facility Manager, PHC Jaji, Iliyasu Magaji assured that, sicks patients would benefit with the drugs free.
