President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of an Assistant Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed as the new Corps Marshal of the federal Road Safety Corps.

Shehu Mohammed is to take Over from Dauda Ali-Biu.

Until his appointment, Shehu Mohammed was the Zonal Commanding Officer in charge of Niger state and the Federal Capital Territory..

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume,The appointment which is for initial Four years takes effect from 20th may 2024 in accordance with the act establishing FRSC.
