Arrangements have been concluded by the Niger state government for the groundbreaking of the Minna-Bida Road project to be performed by the state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago.

The project is co-financed by the Islamic Development Bank, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and the Niger State Government.

A statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Niger state Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, indicated that there would be similar event for the Bida-Lemu-Wushishi road supported by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as well as the Bida township road projects.

The event which has been slated to take place at Kakakpangi village this week is expected to attract eminent personalities both from within and outside the state.

Governor Umar Bago will also perform the commencements of five kilometer road projects each in Mokwa, Enagi, Kutigi, Lemu, Katcha, Agaie, and Lapai local government areas within the week.

The projects when completed would enhance accessibility to rural areas, improve connectivity  as well as improve the safety of lives and property in
