The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria-NAHCON says Kaduna State has emerged as the top state with the highest number of registered pilgrims for this year’s Hajj exercise to Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Public Affairs, Fatima Sanda Usara says out of 51,447 intending pilgrims under the government quota successfully registered, Kaduna State led the pack with 4,493 registered pilgrims.

The statement commends the role played by the federal government in ensuring a smooth registration process, despite initial challenges.

It also acknowledges the sacrifices made by intending pilgrims who faced uncertainties during the registration period.

The statement also expresses gratitude to religious leaders, State Governors, media houses, and other stakeholders who offered support and solutions.
