Jigawa State Government has donated five thousand copies of books to the state pilgrims welfare board and Islamic education bureau titled “GUZURIN MAHAJJATA” aimed to empower pilgrims with essential knowledge and preparation for their sacred journey.

Presenting the Books to the Director General, Pilgrims Welfare Board and Executive Secretary, Islamic Education Bureau, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo and Dr. Mubarak Abdulwahab Hassan, the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim said the gesture is part of the state government commitment to facilitate a smooth spiritual journey of the intending Pilgrims.

Malam Bala Ibrahim reiterated the state government’s dedication to providing all necessary facilities for intending pilgrims.

He urged the Pilgrims Welfare Board to utilize the Books diligently during and after Hajj operations, utilizing resources such as radio broadcasts dedicated to the Hajj Induction Course.

The SSG explained that the state Government decided to sponsor the printing of 5,000 copies of the Books to empower pilgrims with essential knowledge and preparation for their sacred journey.

Responding, the Director General, Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo thanked the Government for the gesture.

Represented by the Director Propagation of the Board, Malam Murtala Abdu Babura commended Governor Umar Namadi for announcing the subsidy of one million naira to the state intending pilgrims who have deposited their amount before the sudden increase of Hajj fare.

While reviewing the book, Malam Mahmud Yunusa explained that the book is essential Hajj Guide is a must read for those seeking to make the journey for hajj or for those just wishing to learn the Fiqh and Rites of Hajj.

Malam Mahmud Yunusa commended the author for the Job weldone and thanked Governor Umar Namadi for his untiring commitment towards promoting the welfare of the pilgrims at all times.
