CDS Vows Enhanced Security Measures for Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, says the Nigerian armed forces are making adjustments to ensure the security of Kaduna State, the Northwest, and the country as a whole.

He stated this when he visited Governor Uba Sani at government House in Kaduna.

General Musa stated that, they are deploying more troops to free all the abducted persons as quickly as possible.

“These children are the leaders of tomorrow; we will not allow them to grow up with that trauma. Let them not feel neglected.”

The Chief of Defence Staff who urged Nigerians to support the military and other security forces, adding that they were working tirelessly to address all acts of criminality.

General Christopher Musa also stressed the need for Nigerians to always support the armed forces by providing timely information for necessary action

“What we required is for Nigerians to give us support, most times when we get information it come in a bit late, but we are happy with the way people are responding, you can see from what happened in Delta State how Nigerians are responding, every body supporting the armed forces that is what will Ginger us to do more”

He commended Governor Uba Sani for his support to the armed forces, and commiserated with the government and people of Kaduna State over the recent unfortunate abduction of school pupils.

“There are individuals that are not happy to see the nation developing and they want to cause rancour, cause mayhem and cause under development because by the time they put insecurity no body want to come and invest in Kaduna or Nigeria.

“We are working tirelessly to secure the state, the country and secure the citizens more especially to free the abducted ones but the students and all the other ones that have been abducted”

Responding Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna commended Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa for the support the state is being receiving since of the incident of Kuriga community.

Malam Uba Sani also stressed that his government is doing everything possible to protect the lives of it citizens.
