Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has presented thirty two brand new patrol vehicles and one hundred and sixty motorcycles to support security personnel in the state .

Presenting the vehicles and motorcycles at the government House ,Ilorin Governor AbdulRazq said three patrol vehicles will be given to the State Road Traffic Management Authority to improve their operations.

According to him , each of the sixteen local governments council in the state will get two vehicles and ten motorcycles.

AbdulRazq advised the local council authorities to work closely with all stakeholders, including traditional rulers within their areas to ensure safety and security.

In his remark , the Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly Yakubu Danladi-Salihu commended the Governor for the initiative to boost security in the state.

He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the vehicles and motorcycles to bring positive change to the state.

In his address , the Chairman of ALGON Kwara State Chapter, Jide Ashonibare said the distribution of the vehicles would go a long way in strengthening local security architecture in the state.

He assured that the vehicles will be put to proper use to strengthen security in their respective areas.
