Kaduna State Government has restated its dedication to providing support for the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital located in Barnawa, Kaduna.
The State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe stated this at the inauguration of some hospital projects.
She highlighted that ensuring the supply of high-quality healthcare services to the public was a fundamental entitlement of the people.
Dr. Hadiza therefore explained her intention to strive for the well-being of Kaduna state residents, promoting their physical and mental health.
In a message, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Mr. Adebiyi Olusesan Olufunso, conveyed contentment with the conducive setting established by the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital.
He also acknowledged its role in facilitating Nigerians’ access to top-notch healthcare services beyond its primary duty.
In a remark, the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Àisha Armaya’u affirmed that the institution had decentralized its services across various locations to supplement the essential healthcare requirements of the population.
Speaking, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli expressed satisfaction with the development in the hospital.
The projects unveiled at the occasion encompassed an Administrative block for the COVID-19 intervention center, an emergency block, a block of classrooms, and an Alternative power supply, among other initiatives
