The Adamawa State Government has relaxed the curfew from 24 hours to 12 hours as was earlier declared yesterday across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State.

This followed the unfortunate activities of hoodlums who invaded into Government warehouses, carted away food items and other valuable materials.

The Government Announced that the curfew is now from 6pm -6 am, aimed at preventing the spread of insecurity in the state.

The relaxation of the curfew followed a meeting in the early hours of today between Security Chiefs and Government Officials led by the Deputy Governor of the State , Prof kaleptwa George Farauta.

The Governor, in a press statement issued by the chief press secretary Humwashi Wonosikou, said the curfew has been reviewed from 6pm-6am, and will be reviewed hourly in order to protect lives and properties of the entire citizens.

He implore the good citizens to comply with the directives of the government for the overall interest of the state.
