The Theatre Commander Joint Taskforce Operation Hadin Kai Major General Gold Chibuisi has charged Air Component of the Operation to sustain the offensive on the vestiges of terrorist elements in the North East to bring sustainable peace to the region.
Major General Chibuisi gave the charge when he received the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Tactical Air Command (TAC) Markudi, Air Vice Marshal Francis Edosa at the Command Headquarters in Maimalari Military Cantonment, Maiduguri.
He commended the efforts of the Air Component in the ongoing Counter Terrorism and Counter Insurgency Operations.
Responding, the Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command (AOC) Air Vice Marshal Francis Edosa said he was at the Theatre to familiarize with the Command having been recently appointed as the AOC Makurdi.
He assured to strengthen the already existing synergy between the Air and Land Component of Operation Hadin Kai.
Air Vice Marshal Edosa used the opportunity to congratulate Major General Chibuisi and Major General Peter Malla on their recent appointments as Theatre Commander and General Officer Commanding 7 Division respectively.
Present during the visit was the General Officer Commanding 7 Division and Commander Sector 1 Operation Hadin Kai, Maj Gen Peter Malla; the Theatre Logistics Component Commander, Brigadier General Ikomi and the Air Component Commander Air Commodore GI Jibia.
