Kano PCACC Is Investigating Alleged Ganduje’s Dollar Video – Barr Muhyi

Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), says it’s investigating various cases of corruption to bring perpetrators to book.

The Chairman of the Commission Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado said at a one day public dialogue, on anti corruption crusade in Kano state.

According to him, PCACC will not relent in it’s efforts at reducing corruption to the bearest minimum across the state.

The chairman stressed that, the commission has jurisdiction to investigate corruption cases, from all walks of life such, as the one involving a former commissioner, as well as the alleged dollar video.

Also speaking, the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Kano chapter, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim highlighted that, the role of the media in fighting corruption cannot be over emphasized.

He described the dialogue as apt, in the sense that one of the best ways to fight corruption, is to expose wrong doings, as it undermines the development of the society.

Others who spoke include representatives from PWDs, civil society organizations, media, academia and the public.

The event tagged: a one day public dialogue on anti corruption crusade in Kano: was organized by Kano open government partnership (OGP), in collaboration with Kano anti-corruption institute.
