Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has sworn in Esq Auwal Tukur, the new Secretary to the State Government SSG, Barrister Afraim Jingi as Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, Shehu Isa Ardo as Head of Service and the State Auditor General.


The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Banquet hall of the Government House Yola, in Adamawa State.


Governor Fintiri stated that this was a momentous day for the people of Adamawa State to witness the swearing-in of some exceptional individuals who would play vital roles in the governance and administration of our beloved state.


He said the appointment of Brr Auwal Tukur as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) was a well-deserved one, as he had been a dedicated and committed public servant whose wealth of experience would be invaluable in guiding the affairs of the state.


Fintiri, expressed optimism in his ability to effectively coordinate the activities of various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, ensuring that, the administration’s policies and programs were executed effectively for the benefit of our people.


He equally expressed confidence in the new Attorney General and commissioner for justice, Brr Afraim Jingi as an accomplished legal practitioner known for his uncompromised commitments to justice and the rule of law.


The Governor tasked all the appointees to prioritize the welfare of the citizens, especially the underprivileged and marginalized groups in society.


He urged them to work tirelessly in the discharge of their duties, keeping the interest of the people of Adamawa state.
