Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Faruk Yahaya has charged Personnel to remain Committed and Disciplined in the discharge of their Duties.

He gave the Charge at the Opening Ceremony of Leadership Awareness and Development Course for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers in One Division Area of responsibility held in Kaduna.

Represented by the General Officer Commanding One Division, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Army Chief explained that the course was Specifically designed to Cater for an observed Leadership gap between the Subalterns and the young Soldiers of the Army.

He maintained that the Course was Packaged with Contemporary modules for Leadership Awareness and Development aimed at enhancing creativity and Critical Skills amongst personnel so as to enable them adapt to confront evolving Security Challenges.

Lt General Yahaya urged participants to take advantage of the Opportunity to upscale their Skills in order to enable them discharge their duties more responsibly in Tandem with his Vision.

The five day event was organised by the Army Headquarters in Collaboration with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
