Governor Nasiru Elrufai of Kaduna State has sworn in Justice Tukur Mu’azu Aliyu as the new Chief Judge of the state.

The governor while swearing in the Chief Judge, said part of his oath of office was to ensure justice for all.

Governor Nasiru Elrufai who expressed optimism with the performance of the judiciary, called on him build on the legacy of his predecessors.

He asked the people of Kaduna State to pray for the Chief Judge to succeed in the task ahead.

Malam Elrufai further commended residents of Kaduna for making the right choice by electing Senator Uba Sani, and Dr Hadiza Balarabe who were in better positioned to build on the good projects it started as well as correct all mistakes.

According him, he was happy that residents of Kaduna were not deceived by other political parties who tried to divide them along religion and ethnic lines.

Malam Nasiru Elrufai expressed confidence that, Senator Uba Sani would do a good job across the state.

In a remark, the Chief Judge of Kaduna State, Justice Tukur Mu’azu Aliyu promised to discharge his duty effectively for the development of Kaduna State.

Earlier, the member of the House of Representatives, representing Kudan and Makarfi Constituency, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Ladan described the swearing in of Justice Tukur Mu’azu Aliyu as historical and well deserved appointment.

Alhaji Mukhtar Ladan also said Justice Aliyu is a dedicated person and prayed for him to have a successful tenure.
