The All Progressive Congress in Kano has rejected the Announcement of concluded gubernatorial elections.

The Chairman of the Party in Kano Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas disclosed this while briefing journalists at the APC Gubernatorial campaign office in Kano .

Abdullahi Abbas who spoke through the Party’s Legal Adviser Barrister Abdul Adamu Fagge said the election was supposed to have been declared inconclusive, saying the canceled votes were greater than the Margin between the first and second parties of NNPP and APC respectively as provided in the Electoral Act.

The Chairman Appealed to INEC Headquarters to reverse the decision and declare the election inconclusive.

In his remarks the gubernatorial candidate of the Party in the just concluded elections Alhaji Naisru Yusif Gawuna said the party’s decision was timely.

He noted that the election was ought to have been declared inconclusive due to the number of canceled votes.

He urged the party to be law-abiding as the party is following legal means to restore their mandates.
