The Minister for Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo Jaji on Saturday cast his vote in the ongoing governorship and state house of election.

Jaji performed his civic right at his polling unit, Kofan Sintali 004 ward in Jalingo Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The Minister described the election as peaceful, and commended the activities of the security agencies and INEC officials for ensuring that the election was going on smoothly.

He however noted voters’ apathy compared to previous elections.

Reports from the sixteen local government areas indicated that the exercise was peaceful but excluding Donga LGA, where some hoodlums destroyed the electoral materials and the security were able to calm the situation .
