NSCDC Deploys 1500 Personnels for Election Duty in Niger

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Niger state command has deployed one thousand five hundred personnel to provide a water tide security in all the twenty five local government councils during the  conduct of this Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

Commanandant Ahmed Mohammed Dandare stated this in an interview with Newsmen in Minna

Ahmed Mohammed Dandare said of the number deployed for the election JTP personnels have been posted to all black spots identified in Niger to ensure a hitch free elections.

He further explained that some of them were placed on standby to response to any distress calls for prompt action.

Commanandant Ahmed Mohammed Dandare however commended Nigerlites for their peaceful conduct during the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections and called for more to succeed.

He said the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps is ready to ensure the safety of lives properties of Niger state to enable them exercise their franchise with ease without fear of harassment or intimidation.

Ahmed Mohammed Dandare advised people of the state to orderly and calm While advising officers and men of corps to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
