Kano State Fire Service says, fire has razed three Automated teller Machines (ATM), at Zenith bank premises, Tafawa Balewa road Nasarawa Local government area
The Public Relations Officer, Kano State Fire Service PFS Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, made the disclosure to newsmen in Kano.
According to him, the agency received a distress call at about 12:06 p.m from one Ghali Muhammad that there was fire outbreak at one of the commercial bank ATM.
He highlighted that, personnel and fire fighting vehicle were deployed to the scene of the incident at about 12:11p.m, where they succeeded in quenching the fire so as not to affect other ATMs.
The spokesman said the building is one floor of about 50 x 20 ft used as Zenith Bank ATM premises.
Saminu further explained that, three Automated Teller Machines (ATM), were completely destroyed by the fire, while three were slightly burnt.
He however, stressed that the cause of the incident, was as a result of spark due to electric fault.
