A group of Sokoto State Governorship candidates have condemned the utterances of some political leaders in the state.

Speaking unbehalf of the candidates, the ADP gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Ibrahim Usman Liman stated this at a news briefing held in the state.

Dr. Liman regretted that the misguided utterances made by the political leaders amounted to disregard for the rules of laws capable of inciting political crisis in the state.

It could be recall that last week, two former governors under the umbrella of PDP and APC in the state have publically accused each other of inciting political tension in the state.

Dr. Liman called on the politicians and their supporters to embrace peace for the sustainance of democracy and security development of the state.

He added that security agencies and the INEC must be more vigilant in monitoring the activities of political parties and their supporters in a bit to ensuring Free and fair upcoming governorship and House of assembly elections

The political parties gro up include ADP, LP, NNPP, SDP, and Sokoto state.
