President Muhammadu Buhari says Asiwaju Tinubus’s victory at the polls will sustain the momentum of development pursued by his administration.
Receiving Asiwaju and his running mate in Daura, the President said he was pleased that the people chose the APC and its candidates, assuring that the Duo would be fair to all sections of the country.
He thanked the Almighty for preventing loss of lives, occurrence of accidents, as well as chaos throughout the period of the election.
The President commended party supporters and the Presidential Campaign Council for the working towards victory, which he said would never have been possible without discipline, commitment and hardwork.
President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in an interview, said that as loyal party men, they came to present their certificates to the President as the party leader and to commend him for his efforts at supporting democracy in Africa.
