Naira Redesign Curbed Vote Buying – Senator Elect

The Senator elect representing Borno central Kaka Shehu Lawan says the naira redesign policy has curbed cases of vote buying in the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections. 

Kaka Shehu stated this at a media briefing in Maiduguri. 

The Senator elect also described the election as one of the best in history of the nation’s democracy. 

He promised to provide quality representation to the people of his constituency to better their livelihood. 

“Incidences of vote buying reduced to the barest minimum because of the redesigning of the naira, any person that win election is based on his popularity ” Kaka Shehu stated. 

Kaka Shehu Lawan also congratulated the President and Vice President elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima for their well deserved victory at the polls.

He then commiserated with traders of Maiduguri Monday Market over the unfortunate fire disaster, urging them to take what happened as destined by Almighty Allah.
