I Will Address Insecurity, Good Governance If Elected – LP Guber Candidate

The Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate for Plateau state Patrick Dakum, says he will address insecurity and bring good governance to the state if elected into office as Governor.

Dr Patrick Dakum who stated this at a media engagement organized by Plateau state chapter of the correspondent chapel in Jos said no community can develop in an atmosphere of insecurity.

Patrick assured that if given the opportunity he will improve on tourism sector, mining activities,education, Agriculture and environment so as to generate revenue for the state.

He said he would set up a committee that would address infrastructural development of the state.

He noted that, with his expertise in the field of public health and with his running mate as a senior advocate of Nigeria, the state had perfect combination that would provide good governance to the people.

Answering questions from Journalists, Dr Dakum emphasized that he will not waste time probing his predisasor, rather he will put more efforts in developing the state.

In his welcome remark, the Chairman of the correspondent chapel in the state Gyang Bere, said such interaction which started years back was meant to listen to all candidates and what they have for the state stressing that the chapel is non-partisan but serves as a guide to give the electorates the opportunity to make the right choices in the elections.
