Voters have turned out en massale at Sarkin Yara ‘A’, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Polling unit in Daura.
Accreditation and voting have commenced simultaneously at the polling unit, with voters coming out from the neighborhoods to cast their votes.
The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, devices have been functioning smoothly at the polling center and other centers visited by Radio Nigeria.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, his wife, Hajiya Aisha Buhari and other members of the first family are yet to cast their votes.
So far, about 22 persons have cast their votes at the polling units as other voters are waiting on queue to do same.
Our correspondent observed heavy security presence at the polling center and other polling centers in Daura town and environs.
