Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has expressed happiness over voters turnout and peaceful conduct of the ongoing presidential,senatorial and house of representative election in the state.

He stated this shortly after he Casted his vote at Kofar Arewa polling Unit Babura central primary school 001.

According to him, they recieved reports on some minor technical problems developed by BVAS at some poling units which had already been addressed and the exercise is going on smoothly.

Badaru who expressed confidence for APC’s victory also called on the people of the state to maintain  peace and order as they are exercising their civic responsibility of choosing their leaders.

Radio Nigeria reports that , the exercise is going on peacefully in Dutse, Kiyawa, Kafin Hausa, Auyo as people especially women keep going to the polling units to cast their votes.
