The Chief of Defence Staff, the three Service Chiefs, IGP, DSS and INEC representatives have met in Abuja and concluded plans in ensuring a peaceful and credible general election across the country starting this Saturday.

After a close door meeting of over two hours at the Defence Headquarters, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor while briefing the media assured citizens of safety during and after the elections even in the troubled zones across the country. 

General Irabor used the forum to warn all thugs and evil perpetrators to desist from any acts or violence that would disrupt the elections or face the consequences.
