Nigerian Army Holds Annual WASA

Nigerian Army has re-iterated its determination towards discharging its Constitutional Responsibilities with every form of Responsiveness and Loyalty.

General Officer Commanding One Division, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja Made the Call at the 2022 West African Social Activities(WASA) at Ribadu cantonment, Kaduna.

Major General Taoreed Lagbaja explained that the year 2022 Training Activities and Responsibilities for the Division were effectively executed with High Sense of Professionalism and Responsiveness, though with some Challenges.

He maintained that the ongoing Operations whirl Punch and Forest Sanity have Drastically decreased Security threats and rekindled Confidence in the Populace.

The GOC however assured that the Division’s Commitment towards making Kaduna State Peaceful for law abiding Citizens remain unwavering.

He charged officers and Men of the Division to Brace up for the year 2023 Training and Operational activities so as to Consolidate on its achievements.

General Lagbaja also Paid tribute to Fallen Heroes who paid the Supreme Sacrifice for the Peace and Unity of Nigeria, and prayed for the repose of their Souls.

Also speaking, State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Mr.Samuel Aruwan commended the Army in Fostering Synergy with other Security Agencies Leading to the Peaceful Atmosphere in the State.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security Mr.Samuel Aruwa.

He re-assured the Division of the State Government’s Commitment and Support to its Operations, and other areas it may be required to intervene.
