NPF Gets 18 Patrol Vans In Kano North Senatorial Zone

The Senator representing Kano North Senatorial Zone Barau Jibrin has donated eighteen patrol vans to all the divisional offices of the Nigerian Police in the zone.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony , Senator Barau Jibrin said the gesture was aimed at ensuring adequate security of lives and property.

“No society will prosper without adequate security, we appreciate what the police are doing in ensuring security of lives and properties ,that is why we provided this patrol Vans to boost their morale”

He commended the state Commissioner of Police CP Mamman Dauda for his tireless efforts of ensuring peace since he assumed duty in Kano.

The lawmaker expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship between the security agencies and the general public, and further assured of making provision in 2023 budget for every policemen to get a motorcycle.

In a remark , Kano Commissioner of Police CP Mamman Dauada assured the general public of putting every machinery in place to ensure free, fair, credible , and transparent polls.

He applauded the commitment and foresight of Senator Barau Jubrin for supporting the Nigerian Police with the operational vehicles.

CP Mamman Dauda appealed to other philanthropist to emulate the gesture, geared toward having a peaceful society.

CP Mamman Dauda also warned state security outfits like KAROTA, Vigilante, and Hisbah to stay away from polling units.

In his speech, member representing Dawakin kudu and Warawa at the Federal House of Representatives Mustapha Bala Dawaki , commended the present administration in the state for maintaining peace and security in the state.

He said as part of his constituency project, he had built a Police secondary school in Dawakin kudu which will soon be commissioned.
