I Have Nigeria’s Interest At Heart – Kola Abiola

The Peoples Redemption party Presidential Candidate, Kola Abiola  has called on Nigerians to elect candidates that have the interest of the country at heart.

Kola Abiola who gave the advice at forum in Abuja said for the country to overcome corruption and underdevelopment, there was need to vote credible and visionary leaders that would deliver on their campaign promises.

Abiola urged citizens to shun sentiment and vote credible leaders to pilot the affairs of the country in the forth coming general elections. 

On issue of naira redesign, he urged stakeholders involve to necessary action to ease the suffering of the citizenry especially those at the grass root.

“The banks cannot cope with the influx, we don’t have enough cash out there, many of our citizens are not even in the banking system, if you are in the village or in a local government that doesn’t have a bank, how do you change money, how do you take that money back, so you need to be inclusive first before you now try to bring a policy that is inclusive, they are not even inclusive yet, so how do you begin to transact’’.

‘’the banking software are not robust enough to take the volume of activities that we are now forced to go online.”

One pressure group leaders at the forum Mr. Ibrahim Abdullahi urged political leaders to run an inclusive government to foster peace and unity of the country.
