Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state says The PDP Presidential candidate Alh. Atiku Abubakar would end banditry and Boko haram activities in the northern part of the country.

Tambuwal gave the assurance at a gubernatorial campaign rally held in Goranyo LGA of Sokoto state.

According to Tambuwal who took record of the security situation of the entire Sokoto eastern zone said of given the mandate Atiku’s government would change the narrative by tackling banditry and other crimes affecting the peace of the people in the zone.

Tambuwal who accused the APC present Government at the centre of abandoning Goronyo Dam Project, assured the electorates that if PDP formed government , Atiku Abubakar would continue with the dam project in the area.

He explained that the project was an important instrument for boosting agriculture in the area, noting that the people of Goronyo were mostly farmers who depended on the dam to produce large crops in commercial quantity for use by consumers.

Speaking at the campaign rally, the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP party in the state, Sa’idu Umar Ubandoma said he would provide opportunities for youths and women in the affairs of governance and engage them in meaningful venture for self reliance.

He urged the people of Goronyo to massively vote PDP candidates as their yearnings and aspirations would not be let down if they clinch power.
