The reactivation of the Nigeria Custom Consultative Forum by Katsina State Command of the Service following advice by Kanwan Katsina, District Head of Ketere Alh Usman Bello Kankara has enhanced peace between it’s personnel and border communities.
The State Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN Comrade Nasir Sani Gide dropped this hint in KATSINA while congratulating the Kanwan Katsina on his conferment with Peace Ambassador award by the state command of the Nigeria custom service NCS.
Nasir Sani Gide also said the advice by Alh Usman Bello Kankara and a retired Customs Controller had also assisted in reducing smuggling and enhance the command’s revenue generation.
He explained that Alh Usman Bello Kankara who is also the grand patron of the association had succeeded in reducing clashes between custom personnel, smugglers and border communities.
The State Chairman of the Association expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Custom Service for conferring the Kanwan Katsina as Peace Ambassador considering his role in enhancing peaceful coexistence in Katsina State.
