Jigawa Govt Denies Us Campaign Venue – Labour Party Spokesperson

Labour Party LP says the Jigawa State Government has denied them facilities to hold their campaign rally in the state.

The Spokesperson of the Obi-Datti Dr Yunusa Salisu Tanko disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse, the jigawa state capital.

According to him, the LP presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba Ahmed will be in Jigawa on Monday 30th for their campaign rally.

He further explained that, they requested for the state complex and Manpower Development Institute MDI for the party’s townhall meeting but the state government denied them the facilities.

Dr Yunusa Salisu Tanko who pointed out that, the denial was contrary to the electoral acts saying that, the campaign now is to take place in filin Samba in the state capital.

We have called you this afternoon to speak on our rally coming up tomorrow at fillin samba after the state government denied us the use of government owned venues as ensureid by law”

The spokesperson noted that the party’s Presidential candidate would do all his best to reduce insecurity in the country.

Peter Obi pledged that his government will secure and unite Nigerians by managing the nation’s diversity to everyone’s advantage without any feeling of marginalization”.

Dr Yunusa said, as for Jigawa State the Obi-Datti administration in collaboration with the State Government hope to turn around the economy of the state when elected President.

Peter Obi is running to be the people’s President who represents the entire country and his plans for the economy will reflect this.

Obi-Datti government will invest in infrastructure, education and affordable healthcare in jigawa State” the Spokesperson stressed.
